During this Lent season, I reflected on how
our Lord Jesus Christ willingly bore all our sin.
One Died for All
“He died for all, so that they
who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose
again on their behalf.” 2 Corinthians 5:15
One died for all, though we are
not called to die for all like our Lord Jesus Christ did and we may not be able
to reach out to all, let us reach out to more than we have been.
I thank God for you and you and
you who have multiplied more and more and more in the CEF ministry.
You pray, more were done
Because you have prayed we were
blessed with more children reached in 2009. I was so encouraged as I
prepare the report for 2009 to see that the number of children reached has an
increase of 80% compared to 2008.
The number of people who
attended CEF seminars has increased by 75% compared to 2008.
Churches were willing to partner
with CEF to go to the highways and byways to recruit participants.
Special thanks to the coordinators and their teams for the seminars and Vacation
Bible Schools. They worked very hard in getting everything in order while I
just teach.
Because you prayed more were
reached and trained.
You give, more were done
The number of children for CEF
Mailbox Club Correspondence Course (MBCCC) has also increased more than 100%.
We were able to maintain the
subsidised price for CEF literature so more churches can afford to purchase the
whole set of CEF Sunday School curriculum.
The Wonder Book and Wonder
Devotional Book are reaching out to many thousands of children around the
country.
Because you give more were able
to receive free MBCCC lessons and cheaper CEF literature.
Because you prayed and gave,
more children will experience the real meaning of Easter this year. Will
you please continue to pray:
-
Opportunities to serve with the churches in Miri to
reach the children in the interior. Need to pray for the approval
from top leadership for this partnership.
-
In my recent trip to Miri, 26 – 29 March, a few people
who had attended CEF seminar last year have approached me concerning
stocking CEF literature in Miri for the convenience of the Sunday School
teachers to purchase the material. Some have offered the use of
their place and volunteer to help. Praise God for these saints who
are so willing to share their place, money and time to stock up the
literature. Let us pray that this will be confirmed soon.
-
For me as I learn the Bahasa Malaysia language, that I
will be able to pick up the language to teach both children and
adults.
-
For more workers to join CEF so that more can be done
while it is still day. The night is coming soon.

This is just hot from the press! I just had (31
March, 7pm) a meeting with my friend, he and his wife was my first
volunteer. He helped CEF buy a second hand cabinet without door
because that was what we could afford at that time. He than built the
doors and bookshelves for us. His wife sewed curtains for the office. They
both helped me a lot and in so many ways. They even made sure that
CEF got their apartment that was bigger from the office we were in, when
they were transferred out. Now he is back nearer to KL to start a
Tamil ministry and we in partnership again in the ministry. God
willing he together with his friend and CEF hopes to work together to do
more for our Tamil speaking children. Please pray for approval from
top leadership in this partnership.
Christ died for all,
You may not reach out to all,
But you can reach out to MORE!
Let us remind each other that
Christ died for all, and we who live, live no longer for ourselves but for
Christ who died and rose again on our behalf.
Have a Blessed Easter!
